Hello everyone! Sorry it took so long but we were waiting for Halloween night to post some fun pics and videos of the
event. Joana was dressed up as a fairy and Julia as Casper, the little ghost. We had a wonderful time at Patsy and Keith´s house and Jojo got tons of candy. She wasn´t able to say "Trick or Treat" so she made sure to say "Thank you" every time she received candy.
Here is a quick update on the girls' weights and heights. Joana is 24 pounds (11 kgs) and 33 inches (84 cms). She is above average in height (a tall girl, indeed) and just perfect in weight. Julia is 11 pounds (5 kgs) and 23 inches (58 cms).
Julia's accomplishments: she discovered her hands at the beginning of this month and finds them fascinating. She is a very happy baby, smiling and cooing (a dizer gugu dada) all the time. All the colic issues are now gone and she has no problem burping (arrotar) on her own. We think she is already trying to roll over, but we won't know for sure for a while. She sleeps very well at night and always wakes up in great happy mood.
Joana's accomplishments: she is now a year and a half knows between 20 and 30 words in each language and, according to he doctor, that is already quite advanced for her age (she is at a 2 year old level). Mommy and daddy are VERY proud! Below are the words she knows so far. We have a couple of videos that show some of the ones she says best.
Here are the lists of words she actually says. There are many more she understands but is not ready to say yet.
