1 YEAR OLD!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOJO!!

A whole year has gone by and we can't believe how quickly things have happened. Joana is now walking and dancing and trying to say many words at the same time. Of course the one word that she says the most (all day long) is Ozzy (our dog). She took her first steps by herself on Good Friday and has been practicing walking with mommy and daddy every day. Check out the videos we posted to see how excited she gets when she walks. She got her first tooth (finally!!!!) a week earlier and it looks like the second one is about to come out.

Joana went to the doctor to have her regular check-up and she is doing very well. According to the doctor, she looks very healthy and happy and is weighing 20 lbs ( 9 kgs) and 31 inches (79 cms). Apparently, she is quite tall for her age. Seh measures more than 97% of children her age. WOW!!! We have a basketball player in our hands!! Joana is loving her new garden and gets really excited when mommy lets her play in the dirt and with the flowers. She is a little explorer!! Check out the picture!

We were so excited to have had so many friends and relatives here for Joana's birthday and want to thank everyone for coming and for all the beautiful presents! Daddy was incredible with the crawfish boil and all the kids had a great time in the bounce house and with all the toys and games available.

Thank you to all the adults who helped us on that day. Being our first birthday celebration, there were so many things to think about, and we couldn't have done it without all of your help! We hope you enjoy the videos!! See you next month!!
