Hello everyone. Yup, another month has gone by. Time flies when you are having fun, huh? And I am having lots of fun with my baby sister Julia. She will be two months on the 30th of this month and I just turned 17 months. I am a big girl now! I started going potty (fazer xixi no penico) and ask mommy and daddy to take off my diapers so that I can use the potty. It plays a song everytime I pee or poop there!
Another important thing that happened is that I no longer have a baby crib. My daddy changed it into a day bed (o berço já não tem grades, é uma caminha de menina crescida). Sometimes I fall off the bed, but that is ok because my mommy puts pillows on the floor so that I don´t get hurt. I like my new bed, but sometimes I get scared and cry for a little while before I fall asleep.
I also know lots of new words in Portuguese and English and play games with cards that have pictures and words that I am learning. Lately I have been obsessed with anything round and call them "Bola" or "ball" in English. I also love baloons but I cry when they pop...which is quite often...I wonde

r why?Baby Julia is doing great and growing very well. She is now 11 pounds and 24 inches (5 kilos e 61 cms.), that's a big girl for a 2 month-old. She loves to look at the fans and watch them spin. (Gosta de ficar a olhar para as ventoinhas do tecto). Lately she has smiled a lot and loves to stick her tongue out.
There is one sad thing about this month, though. Vovó is leaving to go back to Portugal. I will miss her very much just like I missed my vovô when he left. Thank goodness we get to see him almost every day on Skype and I get to show him all sorts of new things my sister and I are doing. It was very nice to have vovó here because she played with me a lot and cooked

She took us on walks around the lake and in the neighborhood and taught me funny little things like "Xi-coração, aperta amor, dá um beijinho, nesta flor " and she hugged me tight while she said it. We love her very much and hope vovô and vovó can come back soon to play with us again. Check out how happy and pretty she looks holding me and my sister in the picture.

Não vale pôr-me a lagriminha no canto do olho!!!!"Xi-coração, aperta amor, dá um beijinho, nesta flor " tenho de aprender esta "rhyme" para cantar aos meus netos, qaundo eles chegarem de Paris, no bico da cegonha. espero que sejam tão lindos como a Joana e a Júlia!!!!!! Eu vou pedir à vovó umas lições, porque eu acho que o mimo desta avó é de tanta qualidade que não estraga nada!!!! Só faz bem. Não tem efeitos secundários indesejáveis!!!!!
